The watercolors and drawing currently on exhibit at Arlington’s Roasted Granola Café are representative of Cianfarini’s work during the past decade. They are, by and large, representational landscapes inspired by New England scenes as well as travels in Europe and South America. His landscapes often include elements suggestive of time’s passage – a ruin, an old barn, even just an object’s rough or worn texture.
