OUR MISSION

We believe attention to detail is what makes our product stand out. Each batch of our granola is made by hand and checked for quality. It is not too sweet, contains healthy nuts and seeds, has a touch of quinoa and is made with Greek olive oil. We are constantly working to bake the homemade, small batch flavor into every bite of our food.

Our granola is fresh. It is slow roasted and turned by hand. We use high quality ingredients sourced from suppliers we know and trust. We use local raw honey from Carlisle Honey (Tyngsboro MA) and pure Vermont maple syrup from Ackermann's Farm (Cabot VT).  Supporting local business is not only good for the local economy, but the environment as well.

THE SISTERS BEHIND THE GRANOLA

sarah short

Founder and CEO

Sarah grew up cooking with her family and worked in restaurants in high school and all through college and then traded her apron for a lab coat as she spent many years as a research scientist and raised her own family. Always close to her sister, Emily asked Sarah to return to the world of food and together they launched The Roasted Granola. Sarah is a backyard beekeeper, likes to garden, read and walk and spend time with friends and family in her free time. Sarah believes that a cup of tea and a good chat is the cure for almost anything.

Emily had a career in computer sciences before becoming a stay at home mother to raise her three daughters. The daughters are grown and Emily is now the grandmother of a beautiful girl, and her youngest daughter, Samita, now runs the daily apsects of the cafe at The Roasted Granola. In her spare time, Emily loves walking her dogs, spending time with her family, and curling up with a good book. Emily believes that there is always time for a cup of tea.
