A BIT ABOUT US...
We believe attention to detail is what makes our product stand out. Each batch of our granola is made by hand and checked for quality. It is not too sweet, contains healthy nuts and seeds, has a touch of quinoa and is made with Greek olive oil. We are constantly working to bake the homemade, small batch flavor into every bite of our food. Try some - you won't be disappointed!
Our granola is fresh. It is slow roasted and turned by hand. We use high quality ingredients sourced from suppliers we know and trust. We use local raw honey from Carlisle Honey, Sophia's Greek Pantry in Belmont MA (the olive oil is from Sophia's family oil grove in Greece), and pure Vermont maple syrup from Ackermann's Farm (Cabot VT). Supporting local business is not only good for the local economy, but the environment as well.
THE SISTERS BEHIND THE GRANOLA
Founder and CEO
Sarah is the mother of two twins who are rising seniors at Arlington High School. She worked at Children's Hospital and Brown University in cancer research before starting The Roasted Granola. Sarah is also a dedicated beekeeper with hives at Whipple Hill in Lexington. She uses beeswax to make her own chapstick and likes to garden and craft in her free time. Sarah believes that a cup of tea is the cure for almost anything.
Founder and CEO
Emily is the mother of three and has worked in computer science and science curriculum development before starting the Roasted Granola. She loves walking her dogs Ollie and Ruby, traveling with her family, and curling up with a good book. Emily believes that there is always time for a cup of tea.
